Read a couple emails regarding HAL yesterday. We know Bill Henry and in
the interest of HAL and the Premium Receiver group, we shared the two
emails with Bill. Got the following email from Bill and am posting for
Bill and the Premium Receiver group in hopes someone here benefits from
this info.

John,

Thank you for your email copies. I have not heard of the "Premium-RX"
site before. I monitor the "Greenkeys" site every day as well as
screening all generic emails that come to halcomm.com and several other
urls for past employees. I am the one who responds to these types of
inquiries - 5 to 10 per week. I do not recall any email from Geoff,
WB6NVH. I save all incoming email and have searched my incoming email
mailboxes for the last 3 years and do not find his name, call-sign, or url.

These days, email is not very reliable. We have many recent instances
of email that has not reached it's destination. Use the "return
receipt" feature - or try again if no response is received within a few
days. The telephone also works - very well, in fact. We are here M-F,
8-5PM most every day of the year.

If you don't mind, can you copy the following and put it on the
"Premium-RX" site?

Photocopies of manuals for all HAL Communications Corp. products (back
to 1972) are available for purchase. Most manuals are $20.00 but some
of the larger ones are more expensive. For example, the ST-8000
Operator's Manual is $20.00 but the ST-8000 Technical Manual (2 volumes)
is $100.00. The ST-8000A Operator's Manual and HFCS-1000 DSPEC Manual
(MIL format) are $50.00. These prices include surface postage for CONUS
mailings. Call Colleen Gorman at 217-367-7373 to place the order. We
accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. Orders can also be
placed via FAX to 217-367-1701. We send original printed manuals when
we have them but our stock of original copies is pretty much depleted.
Most manuals have to be photocopies these days. We do not have digital
copies available for any of the manuals of older products. Give Colleen
3 or 4 days to copy and mail a manual. Email is not necessarily
reliable these days. If you do not receive an answer within 2-3 days,
send it again - or use the telephone. Do not give credit card
information via email.
