The January 2008 "MONITORING MAGAZINE" (UK) ran a review on premium receiver Japan Radio type NRD-630. Comments not to favorable: only 6 AF bandwidth, no AM sync, low sensitivity. poor 3rd. order IMD. cheap "S" meter, wobbly keys, no notch, high spur count, high cost (7000 UK. pounds), manual was lost in translation.  To bad John Wilson did not have a chance to review this DSP disaster; surly would have sent this set back for revision 1,2,3,4, etc. etc. etc.   73's  Harry
