[Premium-Rx] WJ 8618B COR issue?

I'm working on yet another WJ-8618B. This one has an issue with COR? Or does
it? The COR seems to have an extremely wide adjustment range and audio is
low when un muted. I'm thinking that there is a blown stage. Swapping the
card out restores normal operation.

Here's the issue: When I pulled the COR card, A3A15, I found that it was p/n
798040-1. It looks similar to p/n 796233-1. There are extra parts on the
board. I have never seen one like this before. It has A3A15 screened  on it
so it is in the right slot.

Does anyone have information on this board?
