Eugene,
I have a R-2368URR that has the frosted looking display you refer to. I
purchased a NOS RF-590H front panel to replaced the bent front panel on the
R-2368URR and the displays on it are clear. BTW, the RF-590H front panel
works perfectly on the R-2368URR.

Subject: [Premium-Rx] RF-590n display plastic?
Hi there.
I was visiting a friend this past weekend who owns an RF-590A and I
noticed that the transparent plastic that covers and protects the
displays was hazy or lightly frosted (sounds like a doughnut!). My 590H
is perfectly clear. The haziness looked very uniform so it got me
wondering if harris began using a frosted looking plastic or whether my
friend's display has been compromised.
Thanks
Eugene
PS I have been toying with the idea of looking for someone to trade a
590A for my 590H. I thought someone might be interested in playing with
ALE or something and make use of the fast dds in the H.
I might also be interested in trading some other gear for a 1310A (like
a T-827D or a 601A antenna tuner and control head). Primarily I am
interested in ascii remote control of both the receiver and exciter
which is why I am looking for the A models. I haven't decided 100% that
I want to do this, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
