With regards to shelves, I think you either find something surplus or
more typically make it from scratch. A piece of particle board and
4 angle brackets work just wonderfully if you've got front and back
rails. Without back rails you have to stiffen everything to hang from
the front rail. A couple strips of teflon tape work wonders
in making it easy to slide stuff in and out.

Aluminum blank panels are just 1/8" aluminum stock... If it's just
filler then use particle board or sheet metal depending on whether
you need the shielding or not.
