Not sure what the rest of your "receiver antenna system" consists
of, but I would suspect tower joints and hardware, and any rain gutters/
metal vents etc., before suspecting ferrite materials designed to be
linear at low power levels.

Ferrite materials designed to be nonlinear, that's a different matter!!
