Hi Premium RX friends.
To keep you informed about my RF-230 Harris transceiver request I can inform
you that the transceiver is working again after replacing a couple a the
famous blue tatalium caps.(zero Ohm!!) Secondly the 13Mhz xtal oven was
wrongly/out of range.
Still some work to do but the tip of the groupmember to look also under the
covers on the decadeswitch board was the major thing to look after.
Still no manual or schematic so that's on the wishlist.
To finish the job i am very interest to have the USB filter for LSB use. It
is the same filter as fitted in the Harris receiver RF-530A and should be
rated 9.0015 khz which is the same as used in some ten tec transceivers. The
marking on the Harris filter is PTI-model 5321/FL-0135/9.0Mhz USB.
Please let me know if you have one left in the junkbox. If interested I can
supply the detailed pictures off line.
Thanks again for your support and looking forward to the positive mail.
