  As a matter of fact, top or bottom posting are both equally fine, as long as the poster takes care of trimming away 
all the unneeded contents, leaving only the part relevant to his answer. Granted, it is easy to click on Reply, write a 
line of comment and then click on Send, without even changing the Subject line (net etiquette prescribes this in case of 
Digests), but in this world we must have respect for the others, not do how it is easiest and less time consuming for us.
