Looking at the manual fault codes,  it appears Bill should have gotten the
following (he never mentioned the first line...I guess it is A4 Fault but
could be others...)

A4 Fault
Debug 2 001.H
Debug 3 0048H  (Power supply fault when bit 5 is 0, plus RF Translator Fault
when bit 7 is 1) (48H == 01001000  bit 7 is MSB)
Debug 4 0000.h (meaningless)

of course he could get A5 Fault, with similar Debug 2-3, but that is the PLL
failure.

Hi, Bill.  Having owned plenty of 2050's, this is undoubtedly a heat related
problem.  I'm assuming that you have fans installed.  I'm not at home at the
moment (at work), so I can't check my manual for the fault message.  I've
never had problems when I've kept the power supply cool.  Normally repairing
power supply faults is easy at least.  I'll look up the error code if no one
else has a manual on hand....Walt.
