Hi, Bill.  Having owned plenty of 2050's, this is undoubtedly a heat related problem.  I'm assuming that you have fans installed.  I'm not at home at the moment (at work), so I can't check my manual for the fault message.  I've never had problems when I've kept the power supply cool.  Normally repairing power supply faults is easy at least.  I'll look up the error code if no one else has a manual on hand....Walt.
