[Premium-Rx] WJ 8618B and 488 Operation

I'm looking for some guidance on the IEEE 488 interface settings for my
8618B.

8618B: When first powered up it appears to be in Talk Only mode. It will
ignore an RMT command until I hit clear twice. After that it will accept
commands. Is this a function of the DIP switch position 6 for Master / Slave
operation?

8617B-(S1): This receiver accepts commands regardless of state. If I send an
RMT command it immediately goes remote.

I don't have the appendix for the 488 card so I'm guessing.
