[Premium-Rx] Cubic 3030A Detractions

Greeting friends and list members:

I recently acquired a beautiful example of the 3030A and have some
questions.

Can someone please tell me your thoughts on the following and have you
addressed
any of these via mods and if so, which ones and how please:

Idle gain on an empty channel is high resulting in an
exhausting roar rather than the gentle rush with static crashes
intermingled.

AGC is the hang-type, and is set up such that return to "no signal" is
quite fast resulting is severe pumping on SSB and CW signals.

There is a heavy click when the receiver is hit with the leading edge of a
strong signal.

The receiver radiates fairly heavy digital noise. 

Hobbs-style hour meters ticking is annoying.

Synthesizer phase noise.

Thank God the Keypad bounce MOD was done and those are now a pleasure to
use!
