Hi John.

I agree, $2K is too much, but that is Harris for you.  Did you follow the Harris pattern, or adapt something else?

Would also be interested in a schematic of the Harris 597A blanker.

I asked Harris about buying the noise blanker for my RF-590.  As I remember 
it would have cost about $2000.  I made my own.
