Greetings to the list and friends,

   This is somewhat off topic, but I wanted to say that I received many
great suggestions in response to my question about a source and type of
cable use for my receiver to multicoupler set-up. One, however, stood
out. The emails from Rich, WA6KNW, were not only informative but true to
old time ham fellowship, Rich sent me 20 brand new, RG-214U preassembled
cables complete with high quality shrink wrapped connectors and gold
center pins for free and even paid the shipping! I had heard stories of
such generosity in the ham community and had only seen it first hand
from my close ham friends but never from a complete stranger and from
3,000 miles away. It is quite refreshing in this day and age of make as
much as you can from fellow hams and why give it away when you can sell
it on you know where BAY.
