[Premium-Rx] WJ Batteries Again

I just repaired another WJ 8618B that had a cheap cordless phone battery
installed. Please don't use these in your expensive radios. They are cheap,
easy to obtain, and leak. They are designed for consumer grade phones
operating at room temperatures.

Use a high quality epoxy sealed NiCd that is superior to the original
battery. Replacement examples that work well:

For 8716/8718/AN/URR-74/MFP = Sanyo Cadnica p/n N-50SB2, 2.4V, Epoxy
Sealed, -20C to +80C

For 8617/8618/A/B/(S1) = Sanyo Cadnica p/n N-SB3, 3.6V, Epoxy Sealed, -20C
to +80C

If you don't have the original battery brackets I can help. The Cadnica
batteries will fit in your radios with very little effort. The batteries
should be soldered in place. I have plenty of pictures of cheap battery
failures and associated damage. This is not an advertisement and I am not
affiliated with Sanyo. I don't like repairing battery damage.

Best Regards,
Steve
