Hi Herb,

I thought I'd have a really definitive answer for you, however the
schematic in my CR-91 book has the "dB Meter" drawn in in pencil, and it
has an obvious mistake. Anyway, it should be just like the CR-88:

    * 100-ohm resistor from the cathode of the first IF amp (V5-pin5) to
      the positive meter terminal.
    * Negative meter terminal to ground.
    * 100-ohm variable and 4700pF shunting the meter.

The meter movement is backwards, i.e. needle is on the right for zero
current. It shouldn't be real hard to work up a bridge circuit in order
to use a normal meter.

Hope this helps,
Al
