[Premium-Rx] R&S EK071 Receiver

Is anyone familiar with the Rohde&Schwartz EK071 receiver?
I found one on eBay and have several questions regarding this radio:
1-      The owner wants $1,100 for the receiver – he claims it to be
working perfectly, and the pictures show it to be in fine cosmetic shape.
Is that a fair price for this unit?
2-      As it can only be tuned by using a set of up and down switches,
which I think would be a pain in the neck when searching for stations, I
would probably want to operate it via remote control (RS-232).
3-      How does it compare performance-wise to the EK070 that has a
regular tuning-knob and seemingly more displays and possibly features? I
noticed that this model sells for a lot more.
4-      How difficult is it to control the EK71 via RS-232 and are all
its features controllable? Also, is there any commercially available
control software for it?
