To all-

I have a description of my modifications to my Watkins Johnson WJ8617B-17 to 
improve its resistance to overload on strong signals. This particular 
receiver is the high sensitivity EMI receiver that has RF amps in front of 
the preselectors. This is a three page PDF document. If anyone is interested 
in seeing my write up, please send me an email directly. I would have 
suggested posting it to the manual archives but it sounds like there is a 
problem with adding more files to the Preminum-RX archives per John Collins.

Steve Pappin also has a few mod descriptions for most models of the 
8617/8618 members may want to email him about.
