  Hi,
You are naiive. I don´t think you will get any replacement parts from Rohde und Schwarz.
This company ($6 Billion Turnover - not bad for a private company, heh?) is remarkably ignorant
even to German standards, although Mr Rohde lives in USA now. On the scale of ignorance they
are equal to Rockwell in USA.
 Regards,
 A.W.

 Subject: [Premium-Rx] R&S Receiver Questions

  To R&S fans-

1. I have an EB100 portable VHF/UHF receiver and was looking for a new front

panel for it (the die-cast aluminum portion, not the knob, keypad or

electronics). Is there any source for this type of item (ther than R&S)?

2. I have an EK070 HF receiver in the 'portable' configuration in the blue

case. The case is damaged and I would like to replace it. Is there any

source for something like this? Also, how difficult is it to convert this to

the 19" rack mounting configuration (it looks as if it may only require

removing the blue case and fitting rack mount 'ears')?

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Also, if anyone is looking for copies of the Reaction Instruments or M/A-COM

695A SDU manual, I have scanned a copy and can send that out. It is

comprised of large PDFs so you need to be able to accept 3-5 Meg files at

your email.
