[Premium-Rx] HF-2050 help

Speaking of 2050's, about two or three years ago there was a quantity of them on eBay which had been "de-milled" by smashing the displays and the front panels with a hammer and possibly some other internal damage (sigh...)  I don't remember them selling for all that much, as I think most of us felt that finding the parts to repair them would be a daunting task.

If replacement fronts were later available separately, it would appear that perhaps some of our members had bought those radios and have now repaired them, the story of which would make interesting reading!
