Guys,
On my broadband dipole and random wire antennas I receive two kinds of interference. One type is from defective flourescent street lights (a source of constant work requests to the local power company) with the other being considerable "flyback noise" from my neighbors television sets.
Will this type of antenna help with either of these?
Right now the best I can do is use either my MFJ or Timewave noise cancellers with both antennas to get the rid of the worst offender at any point in time.
It's not much fun to hear loud noise out of your WJ covering up an interesting signal!
Thank You,
Gary WA0SPM

Subject: [Premium-Rx] WELLBROOK LOOP ANTENNA
Hello everyone,
I have been reading with interest the comments concerning Wellbrook Loop Antennas.
I use one of these myself despite being out in the country in a supposedly 'quiet' location. The performance is impressive, it does exactly what it says, especially in rejecting 11kV overhead power line interference rubbish.
Could its good performance be due to the fact that the maker just might have been the antenna designer with Plessey Radio Systems? I wonder?
John Wilsons' review in November 2000 Short Wave Magazine is essential reading.
