I just purchased a WJ 34903 OFAS Antenna. From what I have been able to gather this is an ship mounted OVERSEAS FLIGHT ASSISTANCE SERVICE antenna. Frequency range is 2 to 32 MHz. The plastic radome is a cylinder 12" D by 16" H. Inside there are four ferrite loops. They are paired front to back. Baluns feed each set, but one set is amplified (the receive side?). The amplifier is working although I'm not sure what the input voltage should be. I have been running it below 10V during tests.

This is really a neat compact HF antenna. I set it on the roof and it performs quite well. You can aim it away from power lines and noise sources. The radome halfs can be unscrewed from the base and aimed independently. The amplifier drags in weak signals that I cannot hear on my HF dipole.

Does anyone have information of this type of WJ antenna? Input voltage for the amplifier?

It is definitely a marine antenna, sealed compartments, Bendix circular connectors, stainless and gold N connectors, and all surfaces are thick white Nylon attached by nylon screws.
