[Premium-Rx] WJ8617B/8618B Question

Hello Spencer,
 
I have several WJ receivers - a couple with this fault (WJ8888  and WJ8617). 
I have looked at the 2 of them - in both cases the inside of the  encoder was 
coated in a thin layer of fine dust which appeared to be coming  from the 
spindle bearing. 
Cleaning up cured my problem. I did this a couple of years ago, and I seem  
to remember getting the encoders apart without damage was quite fiddly. The  
bearing itself was quite worn - but like all those other jobs - I'll get around  
to that one day....
