[Premium-Rx] WJ8617B/8618B Question

I'd check to see the voltages to the VCOs in the synthesizers are set 
correctly.  If you are out near the edge of the VCO range, it can slow the 
lock speed.

The last one I worked on was an 8618A and it had two LEDs in each 
synthesizer loop that you can see through the lid.  I don't remember if the 
B version has those LEDs, but you can spot lock problems with them 
immediately without undoing a gazillion fasteners to peek under the hood.
