Dear List members,

sometimes secondary charges like postage, duane and takes stop overseas deals:

I think about making a deal with a man in the UK who offers a small professional receiver. I asked for the shipping rate and he answered with an astonishing high price, astonishing at least for me and for this moment. I looked into the shipping rate calculator at the Royal Mail website, because he offered shipping with this company. Yes, the man was right: Shipping this item by the Royal Mail is that expencive! And is my question:

    Who knows a company which might be less expencive for shipping an item 
    of about 2kg (which may be 3kg total weight) as surface mail from the UK 
    (post code DL14 6SL, city of Bishop Auckland) to Germany (Post code 24105, 
    city of Kiel)?

We have such cheap mailing companies here in Germany. Maybe you know such in the UK.
