This is the response I got from a local dealer:

  Ed,

Attached is an application drawing for our XF125 which was originally designed for X-10 applications. If you aren’t familiar with X-10, it is a system of home automation. It uses a 121 kHz carrier signal to transmit coded commands to AC devices on the power line. This filter was designed to be installed between the electric meter and the main panel to the house. Many X-10 users experience problems with interference from outside the house’s electrical system, either noise near the carrier frequency, or signals from a neighboring house that was also using X-10. Due to the way the originators of that technology decided to implement the protocol, the resultant filter became a pretty broad band attenuator. The range of frequencies at the low end of the spectrum that you have expressed an interest in could be effectively addressed by this filter. The unit cost for one XF125 is $ 568.00, FOB our dock and we usually have one, or two on the shelf. We also offer an XF50
(also attached), but as you said that you were using a 60 Amp sub panel, I wasn’t sure what your actual load requirement actually is. If you can afford to use the 50 Amp XF50, its unit cost is $ 332.00. We do not typically have these on hand, but should be able to put one together within a couple of weeks of receiving an order.

The only other alternative would be to specify one of our 3 phase, Delta configured filter, but we don’t have any that are rated @ 60 Amps per phase that would offer better attenuation than the XF Series.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

  Regards,

  John
