Would anyone care to verify my WJ fastener data before I place a volume buy?
On the head of the stud is a number (8, 6, etc). The number is the S code for total length. Because the studs are held in by a retainer the thickness requires a slightly higher S code than for non retained studs. I did my best to read the numbers off the heads with a magnifying glass. The Fairchild catalog can be found here:

Many group members have come forward asking for replacement studs. I will do my best to obtain and offer them.
1) WJ - 8618, 8617 series (Fairchild page A-15)
Short Stud = 5S44-6-1AA, Cadmium plated steel, Recessed cross, dash number = 6
Long Stud = 5S44-11-1AA, Cadmium plated steel, Recessed cross, dash number = 11
2) WJ - 8716, 8718 series (Fairchild page A-14)
Long Stud = 5S1-9, Cadmium plated steel, Minimum Projection cross, dash number = 9
Retainers for all 5F series studs (Fairchild page A-15)
5S3-1

Everything you ever wanted to know about WJ / DRS fasteners and a few others:

I'm going to take some measurements and place orders for Flush Cross and Minimum Protrusion Cross studs. The split ring retainers are all the same. See installation instructions on page A-58 for assembly.
