Ive gotten my hands on an extremely nice "almost close to new"
Telefunken 1800/3
Its in perfect condition as far as i initially can see. 
Seller did test the unit. Imalso finding it flawless except a bit of
wear and tear on a few keys...nothing that cant be fixed
...eventually.

"measured the MDS at 10 kHz (-133 dBm) and at 14 MHz (-128 dBm) with
AGC off and 600 Hz CW filter. There are very good numbers, especially
at 10 kHz where other good receivers lack of sensitivity."

The radio landed today and im amazed ..and in love =). Enjoying the
manual for the SER1800 interface atm..together with some decent
cookies and a cup of tea.


Does anyone have a BT1800 ( Bite test ) card laying around unused. or
for that matter any other interesting 1700 or 1800 cards ?

id love to have it (buy) ..just for the completenes.


Also has anyone on the list actually remote controlled this model ( or
a 1700 ) before ?
