Dear John & friends, I thank you for considering my membership. For your information, I own a SIEMENS E 403 (= Rohde & Schwarz E 49) with the matching SIEMENS Sideband-Converter (30 KHz) and for VHF, Watkins-Johnson equipment. Against interference, I constructed a sturdy magnetic loop with the diameter 1.55 m, manual rotatable on the roof from my desk. I do not have a call sign since I have no transceiver, just SWL or Medium Wave with sideband technology. I am repairing the SIEMENS E 403 since it has a transistor problem in the voltage distribution. I constructed a loudspeaker console for Receiver and attached sideband converter, matching in appearance. Thank you for your consideration. Johannes.
