Hi Jon,
here my comment...
The distribution amplifier (not the preamp) in Jim Garlands multicontroller is a Mini Circuits
Gali 6.
This amp is specified with an IP3 of +35,5dBm and a 1dB compression point of +16dBm at 1 GHz.
At a first glance this might seem quite impressive.
Unfortunately this is the *output* IP3,so the input IP3 (IIP3) is by 10dB (the gain of the amp)
lower,
i.e. +25dBm and the IIP2 can be expected to lie some 18-20dB above the 1dB compression point
of +16,5dBm,i.e.at about +26dBm.
Maybe the specs are a few db's better on shortwave.
Anyway with an IIP2 of only +26dBm and a IIP3 of +25dBm users at least in in Europe would have
to expect *severe* intermodulation problems on full size antennas:
Two signals with S9+60dBm (-13dBm),quite common for bc stations, would generate IM2 products
with S 9+21dB (-52dBm) and IM3 products with S6+2dB (-89dBm).
And Jim uses no filtering within the sw range.

Subject: [Premium-Rx] Rhode & Schwarz multicoupler info
Folks,
I have read with interest the discussion on multicouplers. I was able
to find on the internet the manuals and schematics of the NV14 T
multicoupler and the 5-to-1 antena switch NZ14S (suitable also for
its twin NZ14S2)
Anyone has copies of the manuals for the HF line boosteer NV14L, and
the octal power supply NZ142Em?
Thanks for your help.
jon, ea2sn
P.S.: No one has commented on the one designed by Jim Garland, W8ZR...
