Mac,
I think we are headed for low orbit satellite cell
networks.  Low for reduced lag time and power required
on the ground (not to mention signal quality).  NASA
has experimented with solar powered winged craft that
fly in the 90-120K elevation and could stay airborne
for months and land for repair and then be relaunched
via larger aircraft to return to service.  I think
cell towers will be dead in 10 years.

So, what do you guys think?????
