Yes, and that's exact the reason why in Europe (also) *wide* spaced (e.g. 20-100kHz) IP3 specs
for a receiver are that important,contrary to the common published opinion in the US .
We have to deal with multiple S+60 to +80dB broadcast signals *outside* the amateur bands e.g.
between 7,1 and 7,2MHz.
In a narrow spaced situation within an amateur band you'll find quite rarely a signal over
S9+40dB
except it's you neighbour ham a few km's away.
