Hi,

I recently joined this list, and wanted to introduce myself.

My name's Matt Blaze, my ham call is WB2SRI. I've been a licensed
ham for over 25 years. I'm a professor in the CIS department at the
University of Pennsylvania, where my research centers around
communications security, surveillance and countermeasures (although
more often in the digital, rather than analog RF, domain). I also
spent about a dozen years at AT&T Labs (known as Bell Labs for part
of the time I was there), where I started the secure systems research
department.

I've accumulated a number of "premium" receivers over the years,
currently playing with a WJ-8615D-2, a Racal 6790GM, and a Mason
MiniProbe (a spooky little modular suitcase radio aimed at
countermeasures applications).

I've learned a lot from reading the archives here, and look forward
to participating.

-matt
