[Premium-Rx] 8718 on ebay

Hi,
  WJ8718's are quite reliable. Pretty easy to repair, not very many unobtainium parts in the whole set.  You already know about the leak-o-matic battery.  These radios do have the mixer virtually connected to the antenna, so they are susceptible to mixer burnout.  I have seen several with bad mixers over the years.  I have heard that Mini-Circuits makes an excellent replacement for the M9D mixer and you get a more sensitive radio to boot. 

  My biggest concern would be the seller of these radios. Check his comments.
