[Premium-Rx] Harris RF-590 assistance

Hello, gents.  I just acquired a rather nice looking RF-590 without a manual (also known as a R-5095B/G according to the tag.  Unfortunately no manual accompanied this receiver.  From what I've been able to ascertain, it seems very awkward to tune or input frequencies.  Does anyone have access to manuals, or a brief primer on using this premium-rx?  Thanks.  So far I'd say that it's on par with my Rockwell/Collins HF-2050 receivers and inferior to my Icom 756 Pro2.....Walt Salmaniw, Victoria, BC
