Hi Peter,

Don't know. I've got other power strips with MOVs that are okay. It
does have some LEDs, but they shouldn't cause it either. Never
bothered opening it up to see what's inside the sucker. Easy to check
any power strip by holding a small AM radio next to it.

I must admit I was a little bummed out by the whole thing. Lots of
power-line noise around here. I figured, Boy, all I have to do is plug
my Mackay MSR 5050A into the 100-dB filter oulet and I'll have golden
silence. Oh well, it was worth a try.
