[Premium-Rx] Telefunken E1800

The specs are identical (IP3,noise figure,dynamic range) and several measurements by me and 
others have
confirmed this.
The /3 is a newer design,for instance the motherboard for the modules of the older E1800 is made 
in wire
wrap technique.
AGC of the E1800 is analog while the /3 has a digital controlled agc but you can hardly hear any 
difference.
There are also several versions of the LO (the so called Analyse-Oszillator) one version has 
fast locking
times for frequency hopping but noise sidebands are worse by 10dB.

  There is also a newer model of the E1800 which is the E1800/3.  I do not know what the 
difference between the two is but certainly seen one.  They are relatively better known over in 
Eu then in the US .  I know they have several option modules such as the Antenna Diversity 
module which is a great option i have never seen in other receivers.  also preselector module is 
an option as well as an additional DE1800 modulator which enables the unit's ISB mode.

  the entire Telefunken Exxxx series receivers i think are great receivers.

    Does anyone know what an E1800 and E1900 are worth? Both Telefunken receivers.
