[Premium-Rx] WJ-8712 - HF-1000 - Software

Hello Group,
 
I have recently acquired a WJ-8712 which was fitted with the HF-1000
IC's.The unit came from an ex-WJ technician in Germany,- now retired.
All runs well,- only the (?) software that came with 8712 (WJ8712/KWST)
leaves something to be desired for.
Has anyone in the group experience with other software like ERGO or
SCANCAT or others, that you would like to share with me? 
 
Other than that, the gentleman I bought the receiver from has literary
tons of original WJ and HP handbooks. If there is interest, please let
me know what you are after,- it could be scanned for the cost of doing
