[Premium-Rx] Racal 6790/GM 1st Mixer failure

My recently acquired radio has failed (at least partly).  C38 in the first
mixer has burned up and the current overload was sufficient to melt the
solder joints on L10 so that it fell out of the board.

 

I looked at the circuit diagram and the only thing I can theorize is that
C38 was the primary cause.  Does this make sense?

 

I would also like to replace L10.  Does anyone know the current carrying
rating?
