[Premium-Rx] Beacon Hunting

Sid, Terry O'Laughlin the resident WJ expert might expound on this, but most
of the LF W-J receivers are NOT intended to be hooked to outside antennas -
they don't have the proper bandpass filters, etc. They are intended to be
connected to the video output of a VHF/UHF/microwave RX to tune subcarriers.
I fear you will be sorely disappointed with all the birdies and AM BCB trash
you'll get with one of these. And the front ends are pretty poor even if
they DID have filtering in the front end.

Good VLF receivers I've used include the RCA AR-88LF, Collins 651S-1 with
the VLF module, RCA AR-8516, and Cubic R-3030.
