Hi gang ...

The article Michael O'Beirne sent me about an AM Synchronous Detector is
now up on the Premium-Rx website.

I had two versions of the article. The first was published in Electronics &
Wireless World in September 1989. But it was difficult to scan properly. So
I've chosen to use the author's original manuscript instead. I do not have
the author's name, but will add it on the website when I get it.

The detector described was developed with the intention, I gather, of it
being marketed. But some kind of patent dispute prevented that. Michael has
a prototype of the device and likes it. I was unsure about the worth of
posting the article if the key component - the Siemens S041P was not
available. But the replies I got to my query on this suggests it is, at
least for the moment.

It's on our website Reference page under Articles. For those who want to go
straight to the beef:

The document is a 380k PDF file.
