Hey, that's a great article.
 
Although I might have to admit to a slight bias....
that ICS3 receiver, also known as the AN/URC109, is the one I've raved  about 
on more than a couple of occasions.
It's nice to know Marconi were proud of it too, even if it does seem that  
they were even more biased than I am:-)

This particular Marconi RX, at least, is becoming less rare on the surplus  
market.
I have five of them that I've gradually collected form a release a few  years 
back, two with home brew power supllies.
I know of at least two others, not including yours, and suspect  there's 
quite a few more in circulation now.
I'm also aware of at least one truck load that was cut up and scrapped  for 
the metal content.
All of mine, unfortunately, are buried in storage at the moment.
I do have a limited amount of documentation, which does include  module 
connection details, power distribution diagrams, and a basic test  procedure.
I don't have this in electronic format, and my scanner is buried too:-(,  but 
can get it photocopied if needs be.
