[Premium-Rx] AOR 7030+ Receiver

I had one for five years, selling mine (with all bells & whistles) in
2004. It is an amazing receiver with excellent audio and a hearty front
end, but for real dx one should consider to replace, or at least add to,
the stock filters. I had an Icom xtal filter and a Collins low-torsion
mech filter in mine (+ a couple others). It is a little insensitive, but
it would probably not be a problem unless you live in an extremely quiet
location RFI-wise. If you can live with its somewhat convoluted user
interface, it will give you a lot of pleasant listening. Btw if you get
used to using the remote control, it is quite user-friendly after all.

I sold mine because it was in fact a little too insensitive for me - but I
live in an extremely quiet location and need all the gain I can get.
