When I visited the Allegan, Michigan FCC monitoring post in the 80s they 
had two RA-6790s and an RA-6793.  The 6793 was hooked to their downsized 
Wullenweber, (which the agent referred to as a Luedtke-Weber).  That was 
their best antenna so you can guess what their favorite receiver was.  Pop 
Comm published my story with photos from the visit.

For mobile FCC vehicles, I saw a photo of an RA-6217 mounted under the dash 
of a 1960s auto.  Watch those kneecaps!
