I would be interested in a repro of the RF preamp, ISB, and Analyzer_output boards, if they were reasonably
priced.

Subject: [Premium-Rx] Racal RA6790/GM improvements
A few days back there was a discussion on improvements to the Racal RA6790/GM.
I suggested we post all that information somewhere. Did anything come of that ?
Yesterday I found something really interesting at http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/488
It seems there was a VLF/ ELF version of the 6790 that actually tuned down to 1kHz.
It had the famous VLF version of the EPROM's, a different first mixer and a few other differences from the "standard" 6790. Anyone have any information on this ?
Better yet, does anyone have the goodies to convert a " standard" 5790 to VLF/ELF that they would part with ? I sure would like to get at least one of my 6790's to tune down to 1kHz.
Last question for today. Would there be any interest in reproductions of some of the options that were available for the Racal RA6790/GM ? Such as the optional RF amplifier, the A5 ISB board, the spectrum analyzer output board, the VLF/ELF option etc. I have a small company that might be able to do that if there is enough interest. It ain't gonna happen next week but maybe by mid summer. It is a ( sometimes ) for profit company. I did the ReCap kits for the R-390A through the company for a couple years. The total profits from that venture bought a case and a half of Guinness Stout. The profit margin will have to be a tad higher this time, say, two cases of Guinness per month minimum.
Anyone interested ?
Kindest regards,
Dave
