The ARRL Solid State handbook has one for a receiver project set up for
160M.
I have this 60 pound preselector processor controlled with a motor
driven 4 gang cap with a pile
of Vacuum relays to select coils. It also has a final preamplifier with
a couple stages to a
pair of MRF 460s. I was going to strip it for parts. Maybe I should
reconsider.
I think it was part of an old Collins rig. Navy gray. Hostraders flea
loot.
I also have an old HP331 with a nice 4 gang cap that was going to be a
preselector
before I got into up conversion.

Does anyone have construction details on a 160m Cohn tunable preselector?
This would be a great place to start on this ideal receiver. Thanks, Dave
