Hello All,

 

I have a nice, fully operational ITT MacKay 3041A receiver for sale.
This receiver covers 100 kHz to 30 mHz using a tuning dial with
selectable step rates (no keypad entry).  The Mode switch allows
selection of AM, CW or RTTY, CW variable offset, CW fixed offset, USB
and LSB.  There are 5 IF filters including the dedicated USB and LSB
filters, in modes other than SSB you can select 500 Hz, 2 kHz, and 8 kHz
filters.  The front end can be either untuned or broadband.  In the
tuned positions you select the band, and then peak the front end.  It
has a small front firing speaker and a rear terminal with 600 ohm fixed
output, or 8 ohm variable output along with muting.  Read out of
frequency is to 10 Hz by LEDs.

 

I do not have any problems with strong signal overload, but the tunable
front end should help greatly if you have that problem.

 

The front panel is excellent, the top, bottom and side panels have a few
scratches from going in and out of a rack.  Everything is working fine,
it just doesn't get much use due to too many receivers in the room.  It
comes with a complete copy of the manual and ac cord, just connect an
antenna and put it to use.  I am looking for something around $550 plus
shipping.  I may also be interested in a trade +/- cash.  I am near
Houston, Texas.
