S-meters !

Analogue ? Digital ? dBµV ? AGC ? S units ? Calibration ?

The best S-meter is right between my two ears !

I tune in and fiddle with knobs for best signal quality without peeking at
S-meters....

I 'd prefer a   'Houston, I read you loud and clear'  instead of amateur
radioese '  59 when clear' ....

Fuzzy logic or just not scientific ?
