Paul,
Congrats on bagging such a rare bird.
I think we all would enjoy hearing about it when you get it up and running.
It is similar to the equally scarce Siemens E401 (not E410).
The German magazine "Funk" did an in-depth story on the R&S EK47/Siemens 
E401 in the March '89 issue.
