Dear Ian/Greg

A while ago I downloaded all the WJ Tech Notes leaflets -there are about
100 of these covering all sorts of technologies that WJ design teams
pioneered from 1970's to 1990's but biassed towards the earlier years eg
how YIG Oscillators/Filters were designed and used and also covering many
of the HF/VHF/UHF receiver designs that many of us are now finding as
surplus It's a very useful source of info in the absence of handbooks.

The best thing is to go and look at http://www.wj.com/technotes/index.asp
which gives a synopsis of the topics covered by these and if you run your
mouse pointer over each subject - these highlight and clicking on the
subject brings the file down in .pdf format. All of them = 67 MBytes. If
someone wants to have the whole lot in one go I have broadband and could
transfer via FTP

Best regards
